Working as part of the University Credit Control team, you will assist the Credit Controller and Deputy Credit Controller in dealing with, and resolving, queries from our student body, approved sponsors, and trade debt.
Supporting students through their interaction with Student Finance and Cardiff Met’s own payment schemes, you will apply a methodical approach to guide our service users to a satisfactory conclusion.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing front-line support to help students through their financial journey with the University.
* Inputting on day-to-day Credit Control decisions.
* Recording transactions and interactions in a variety of databases.
* Liaising with internal departments to resolve any issues affecting the financial record.
* Setting up, monitoring, and maintaining student payment agreements.
What You’ll Bring
* Recent experience of providing excellent customer service and a strong commitment to the principles of delivering excellent customer service.
* Good skill levels in the operation of various MS Packages, particularly Excel.
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
* 2 A-Levels passes or more than 2 years’ experience working in a central finance department.
