We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager who will lead direct procurement categories across the EMEA region, focusing on uninterrupted supply, service excellence, and cost optimization within a FMCG business. This role requires strategic category planning, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship management to drive long-term value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure continuous supply to support category growth and business needs.
* Develop and execute category strategies tailored to regional requirements.
* Lead and manage high-level negotiations with key suppliers across EMEA.
* Conduct in-depth market and category analysis, including pricing, capacity, and risk factors.
* Drive Cost of Goods optimization through tenders, RFQs, and compliance processes.
* Build and manage supplier relationships for improved service and performance.
* Evaluate supplier innovations and capabilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Degree or equivalent working experience
* Strong commodity procurement experience in an FMCG environment.
* Proven negotiation and facilitation skills.
* Proficiency with SAP systems.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
* Strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Track record of process improvement in purchasing.
This is a hybrid role where you'll be expected to be in the office 2 times a week.
The salary banding is from £70,000 - £75,000 + 10% car allowance, bonus and benefits.
