Role Description
This is a voluntary role based in Bournemouth for a Board Member. The Board Member will work collaboratively with other members to set the strategic direction and oversee governance of the charity. Responsibilities include attendingb-monthly board meetings, contributing to decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and offering expertise or guidance in areas such as fundraising, finance, marketing, or animal welfare.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to contribute to strategic planning and governance.
Experience in finance, fundraising, marketing, or business management is highly valued.
Passion for animal welfare, understanding of charity operations, and commitment to the mission.
Proficient communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team setting.
Desire to engage with and represent the local community in activities and initiatives.
Knowledge of nonprofit governance, compliance, or trustee responsibilities is an advantage.
We need a Treasurer, a Secretary and board members with expertise in Marketing & Social Media and Fundraising.
