Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pub/Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and culinary arts, along with exceptional team management skills. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
* Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, food preparation, and customer service.
* Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation by overseeing kitchen activities and assisting with culinary tasks as needed.
* Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
* Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
* Implement health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and standards.
* Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
* Coordinate with bartending staff to create a comprehensive beverage menu that complements the food offerings.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of food production processes, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff effectively.
* Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
