Day includes:
* Reviewing and building store planograms and working with buyers and merchandisers
* Working with suppliers to find best fixture solutions
* Working with buyers on strongest promotional plans for stores
* Getting involved in key company projects
* Getting to know our customers to help make the right decisions
* Help improve stock quality and ensure promotion of own brand products
Key Responsibilities
Planogram Management
* Work closely with Merchandise Planner and Buying team to agree range review objectives and ensure they are met
* Ensure planograms meet visual merchandising guidelines and rules
* Present and secure sign‑off of planograms to higher stakeholders
* Manage discontinued stock in planograms and highlight key risks
* Build plans in the merchandise centre or with Supplier Category teams ahead of range review
* Deliver range review communication and coordinate with store operations
Fixturisation
* Integrate fixturisation into the planning process and place on the planogram
* Manage fixturisation projects and critical path for owned categories
* Analyse impact of fixturisation and trays and share findings
Range Management
* Maintain and update category range plans with new lines
* Range all new products to store and update plans accordingly
* Own weekly range line updates and understand shopper segments
Promotional Planograms
* Own promotional planogram sign‑off process and build planograms per Critical Path
* Challenge facings based on forecast and SKU distribution
* Communicate plans via promotional bulletin
* Maintain weekly trackers and run reports
* Deliver planograms to stores and manage queries
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Work within agreed budgets and timescales
What you need to succeed
* Experience in retail, merchandising support or store operations
* Attention to detail with a big‑picture view
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
