Role Overview As the Highways Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating daily site operations, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality. Key Responsibilities * Supervise day-to-day highway construction and maintenance works * Manage site teams and subcontractors, monitoring progress against programme * Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks * Conduct quality checks and ensure works comply with specifications * Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and client representatives * Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and progress reports * Assist in resolving site issues and implementing corrective actions where required Requirements * Previous experience as a Site Supervisor on highways or civil engineering projects * Strong knowledge of highways construction, traffic management, and CDM regulations * SMSTS or SSSTS (essential) * CSCS card (essential) * Full UK driving licence * Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and maintain high safety standards If you’re an experienced Hi...
