What You’ll Do
* Carry out all fault finding, tool repair, corrections and modification. Ensuring tasks and output are to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
* Translate CAD drawings to complete required tooling tasks.
* Operate equipment and machinery for which they are authorised.
* General housekeeping of the department.
* Ensure lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
* Liaise with other departments/functions to ensure good team collaboration.
* Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy, while adhering to the Eaton Life Saving Rules.
* Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with the Tool Room Team Leader.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Formal engineering qualification.
Skills
* B.TEC ONC or equivalent.
* Recognised apprenticeship training programme.
* Abrasive wheels regulations.
* Health and Safety at work.
* Ability to work with and support Teams.
* Engage in Company initiatives.
