Job Description
A thriving boutique firm in Manchester is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team. In this role you will handle high-value clinical negligence claims from inception to completion to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and results.
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
* Manage a caseload of high-value clinical negligence claims of the utmost severity.
* Conduct initial client interviews and provide clear, empathetic legal advice.
* Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress.
* Support clients who may be traumatised, injured, or vulnerable.
* Engage in negotiations with defendant solicitors and insurers.
* Work to achieve fair settlements or pursue litigation where necessary.
* Calculate and justify compensation, including for general damages, loss of earnings, and future care.
* Adhere to regulatory standards, including SRA and GDPR requirements.
* Maintain accurate, timely records on case management systems.
* Manage costs and profitability of cases in line with firm policy
Skills and experience required:
* A qualified Solicitor with 4 years PQE in Clinical Negligence.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to client care.
