Job Description
The In‑House Commercial Solicitor will be:
3. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
4. Advising group companies on commercial and legal risk
5. Supporting procurement and operational teams with commercial advice
6. Assisting in the creation and rollout of a contract playbook
7. Managing stakeholder relationships across departments
8. Supporting compliance with internal policies and governance
9. Working closely with senior legal counsel and external advisors
10. Contributing to legal process improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
The In‑House Commercial Solicitor should be:
11. A solicitor or equivalent with 2‑4 PQE
12. Experienced in drafting and advising on commercial agreements
13. Able to assess and manage legal and commercial risk
14. Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills
15. Comfortable working independently and in a team
16. Adaptable and proactive, with a commercial mindset
