EYFS Teaching Assistant – SEN Support | Freckleton | Immediate Start Location: Freckleton, Lancashire Contract Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, based on experience Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Freckleton. This full-time role is to start immediately, supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in EYFS. Assist the class teacher in delivering a creative and inclusive curriculum. Help foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Monitor and record pupil progress, working closely with the SENCO. Support children with a range of needs including communication, sensory, and behavioural challenges. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience working in EYFS and supporting children with SEN. A calm, patient, and nurturing approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for early years education and inclusive learning.
