Duties & Responsibilities:
* Dealing with multiple drivers
* Communicating with ports
* Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
* Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
* Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
* Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
* Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
* Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
* Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
* Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
* Excellent UK geographical knowledge
* Can work on own initiative
* Quick and efficient problem solving skills
* Organised at all times
* Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
