Your tasks
* As a member of one of our 3GPP technologies teams, your key responsibilities will include
* Supporting the design and implementation of specific 3GPP 5G protocol conformance features and toolsets.
* Supporting the design and implementation of 3GPP stack features, tests, and tools.
* Involvement in design and development of tools and features leading towards 6G.
* Investigating and resolving customer requests related to 3GPP 5G protocol stack.
* Learning about the development of complex software applications using C++ and Python, including testing strategies.
* Collaborating with industry experts in the UK and Germany to gain knowledge of cutting-edge wireless and telecommunication technologies, RF engineering, and AI/ML.
* Working independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment as part of a larger team, depending on your current tasks.
* Gaining hands-on experience with AI/ML and its application in development and customer projects.
* Contributing to the 5G standardisation process through close collaboration with 3GPP experts.
* Participating in ongoing process improvement and innovation initiatives within the team.
Your Qualifications
* To be successful in this role, you will need
* To be studying for a degree in electronic engineering, computer science, AI/ML, or a related STEM field with programming modules.
* Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., C++ or similar).
* Some understanding of wireless telecommunications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
