Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation wishes to appoint Locum Consultant in Neurology.
Roles and Responsibilities of the post
The successful candidate will join a close team of existing neurology consultants at the West Middlesex site. The appointee will provide inpatient and outpatient services, in a busy, but well supported hospital.
The post holder will deliver comprehensive care for patients admitted to the ward under their team.
The post holder will also undertake ward rounds and conduct multidisciplinary meetings.
The post holder will be responsible for prompt discharge planning of neurology patients under his/her care.
The post offers immense opportunities for teaching and training junior doctors and medical students.
Provision with Consultant colleagues of a service to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation NHS Trust, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department.
Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including reviews of manpower requirements
