The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment. Working on a rotating shift pattern, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment
* Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times
* Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise performance
Requirements
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role (electrical & mechanical)
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Experience within manufacturing or heavy industry (steel experience desirable)
* Ability to work rotating shifts
