2026 Graduate Programme - Property & Buildings - ESA Architects
Join WSP as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant in our London, Birmingham or Glasgow studio. In this role you will work on large‑scale, high‑profile projects and gain hands‑on experience in design, documentation and client engagement under the guidance of industry‑leading professionals.
Day‑to‑Day Activities
* Assist architects in developing design concepts and detailed drawings.
* Support project teams with technical documentation using Revit, Adobe Packages and AutoCAD (training provided).
* Prepare presentations and visualisations to communicate design ideas effectively.
* Help ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements throughout project stages.
* Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to maintain design quality and consistency.
* Participate in client meetings and liaise professionally to support project delivery.
* Assist with bid documents and proposals, showcasing creative and technical skills.
Qualifications
* Graduate with at least a 2:2 in a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
* Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Packages and AutoCAD (training available).
* Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a design team and take ownership of tasks after briefing.
* Proficiency in scheduling and maintaining focus to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
* Strong communication skills for conveying technical detail graphically and verbally.
* Enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems.
* Willingness to share new ideas and inspire the team.
