MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - UP TO £60K - CANARY WHARF - HYBRID
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a long-term client in their search for a permanent Management Accountant offering hybrid working and up to £60k!
You'll be part of a high-performing UK&I Controlling function, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls across multiple customer contracts. Working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and wider finance teams, you'll take ownership of key financial processes, contribute to business insights, and help drive efficiencies across the function. This is a hands-on role with real visibility across the business - ideal for someone who enjoys both technical accounting and partnering with stakeholders.

* Working pattern: full-time - hybrid -2-3 days onsite, rest working from home
Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and revenue-related transactions.
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance and resolving any discrepancies.
* Support internal and external audits, ensuring controls and processes are adhered to.
* Maintain and improve a strong financial controls framework, including Controls Self-Assessments.
* Analyse financial performance, including customer profitability and cost management.
* Investigate and explain variances against forecasts.
* Review accounts receivable and working capital, taking action to improve performance.
* Monitor and manage open purchase orders, ensuring aged items are kept to a minimum.
* Support business reviews with Key Account Managers and Finance Business Partners.
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance.
Requirements:
* Qualified, part-qualified, or studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and reconciliations.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Intermediate Excel skills (experience with Navision or OneStream is a bonus).
