🕔 Working hours: 35 hours a week, flexible between 8:00am to 6:00pm

💻 Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Performance Test Lead you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining performance Test Framework and Test Suites for multiple Projects/Maintenance Cycles from Development through to Go-Live. As a Performance Test Lead you will work with all departments to ensure quality deliverables, building strong relationships between the business and IT delivering software through Agile methodology. From time to time, you will be required to perform software tests, following best practice to ensure quality and correct documentation of test procedures in all areas of software testing.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of documented Performance test cases. Executing tests, preparing test reports, and working closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to report defects when required. As a Performance Test Lead you should have excellent non-functional testing skills as well as development knowledge. You will have exposure to performance engineering and a great understanding of software architecture and must be able to apply your knowledge of tools/techniques to support the various stages of the performance testing life cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advise on implementation of Performance testing to ensure clean and scalable framework design which can be applied in a generic way across multiple projects and streams.
* Troubleshoot issues with team members implementing test frameworks and guide with a 'hands on' approach where necessary.
* Ensuring Test Delivery Assurance complies with Industry standard tools and frameworks.
* Working closely with Stakeholders, developers, business analysts, dev-ops, and testers to understand requirements and translate to effective test frameworks.
* Effectively coach team members to build understanding of test strategy and create automated Performance test frameworks to support testing best practice.
* Ability to run Performance tests throughout the entire lifecycle of the product and data flows, from ingestion through to the presentation layer.
* Ability to plan and strategize testing for complex systems. This Involves planning scope of testing, Release/Sprint planning, resource planning, overall planning for E2E testing activities and Performance and Volume Testing.
* Capable of designing and execution of detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.
* Proactive and organised, capable of working in an ambiguous/uncertain environment, understanding risks & flagging it on time. Ability to mitigate risks and ensuring quality deliverables adhering to timelines.
* Excellent Communication, Coordination skills and Stakeholder management.
* Highly experienced in Agile ways of working.
* Leadership skills and ability to drive change using influence and networking.
* Good team player and effective leader with a long-term vision.
* Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements that improve the level of delivery while finding optimization opportunities.
* Manage and prioritise the Performance testing workload.
* Drive process improvements for delivering change, faster at optimum cost and minimised risk to operational services.
* Defining the scope of Performance testing within the context of each Project / Cycle
* Define and agree test plans with Test Lead and the Scrum teams.
* Provide accurate test estimates for Requirements.
* Monitor and report test progress to all interested parties and escalate issues as required.
* Ensure the acceptance criteria for each test phase are achieved.
* Train and mentor new Joiners and other Team members as and when required.

✅ Expected experience & skills:
* 7-10 years of experience in Software Testing.
* Hands on experience in reading and writing clean code using C# .NET is desirable, knowledge of C# .NET is essential.
* Experience of designing, creating, and maintaining Performance frameworks and scripts in line with coding standards.
* Strong Testing Experience in API Test Automation
* Experience with Azure DevOps, or equivalent, for CI/CD pipeline and using Source control tools like TFS, Azure Git
* Used performance test tooling such as JMeter, K6, Neo load, Azure Load Tester (The key is to be adaptable to the situation/tool/technology)
* Experienced in various types of testing – support for Unit, Smoke/Sanity, Functional, System, SIT, Integration, regression, support UAT etc.
* Understanding of version control systems
* Root cause analysis
* Integration of testing within development pipelines
* Must have experience in Agile/Scrum models.
* Keen attention to detail essential
* Must be motivated to work independently whilst able to positively influence and engage with other team members.
