Host/Hostess - Central London

As a Host/Hostess you will be the first and last point of contact with guests at the restaurant and responsible for greeting, seating, and saying goodbye to guests as well as maintaining the flow of the restaurant during service. A Host diligently and efficiently manages reservations and seating in Eataly's restaurants. You will be assigned to one of our restaurants as your main point of work but will have the opportunity to support across the other outlets to further your knowledge.
Eataly London is home to four restaurants all focused on providing high quality Italian food:
* A traditional Italian grill restaurant - Terra.
* A classic, high quality, casual Italian - Pasta + Pizza.
* A marketplace restaurant, complete with fresh food counters - Cucina del Mercato.
* An outdoor restaurant - La Terrazza.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Welcoming, greeting, and seating patrons.
* Managing reservations and coordinating seating arrangements.
* Communicate with guests via phone and emails.
* Collaborate with the serving staff to maintain an accurate waitlist and optimize table turnover. Provide outstanding guest satisfaction and ensuring the establishment's reputation for hospitality.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR...
* Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A passion for food and beverage and the Italian culture.
* Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
* Experience with bookings or as a receptionist.
* Comfortable communicating with guests face-to-face, over the phone or via email.
* Conversational level of spoken and written English.
* Right to work in the UK.
