The Role This is a senior engineering position for someone who wants architectural influence, technical ownership, and the opportunity to shape how a platform 'll join a platform engineering team responsible for systems that directly underpin global product delivery, working across the full stack with modern tooling and cloud-native infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design and evolve core platform systems with scalability and long-term maintainability in mind Deliver full-stack features using TypeScript / Node.js on the backend and React / on the frontend Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS across application and infrastructure layers Define and manage infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices Own CI/CD pipelines and release processes end to end Apply test-driven development and strong automated testing principles throughout delivery Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform direction Troubleshoot complex production issues across the full stack Collaborate closely with product and delivery stakeholders to shape technical solutions What You'll Need Essential Strong commercial experience as a Software Engineer at senior level Deep experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, particularly in Node.js environments Strong frontend capability using React and Hands-on AWS experience across application deployment and infrastructure Experience with Infrastructure as Code - ideally Terraform Solid database fundamentals across relational and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB or similar) Proven experience operating within modern CI/CD environments Clear understanding of scalable system design and cloud-native architecture Right to work in the UK Nice to Have Experience writing backends in Rust Exposure to AI-powered developer tooling and agentic workflows Background in platform, SaaS, or product-led businesses Why Apply?
