I am currently recruiting for a Lead Product Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in West Sussex. Salary up to £75,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are worldwide leaders in the design, development and manufacture of their incredibly high-end products. They work out of their state-of-the-art offices fully equipped with showrooms enabling them to present their products to their clientele highlighting why they're above and beyond their competitors. They've grown astronomically in recent years and projections suggests this shall continue in line with the ever growing demand and desire for their products.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Lead Product Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Lead Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of 4 other Product Design Engineers, as well as some sub-contractors and offshore resources as and when required. This will be a hands-on role with 75% of your time spent designing, with the other 25% of your time spent around leadership duties such as project managing, process improvements, delegation, mentoring, managing and training.
