About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and meticulous Compliance Artwork Coordinator to join the Muc-Off team, helping us deliver packaging that's both compliant and on-brand. Reporting directly to the Compliance & Quality Control Manager, this role ensures that all product packaging is legally compliant, accurate, and fit for sale in global markets.
This position combines regulatory oversight with technical artwork preparation, bridging compliance, NPI, and creative teams to reduce risk and maintain efficiency. With new regulations such as CLP 2027, the role is central to ensuring Muc-Off products remain compliant and competitive worldwide.
What we're looking for
With a university degree or equivalent and strong knowledge of current and emerging design software, you'll have a background in artwork or packaging and a keen interest in compliance. You'll have the confidence to coordinate across teams and ensure all outputs meet regulatory standards. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across international markets are essential. Accuracy and consistency sit at the heart of this role, so a methodical approach and the ability to work effectively at pace are key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and amend packaging artwork to ensure compliance with CLP, REACH, GHS, and other global regulations.
* Integrate and verify technical copy across multiple languages, ensuring accuracy, legibility, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with the NPI team to flag when language limitations require new SKUs or packaging strategies.
* Manage organisation of artwork and compliance projects, maintaining clear tracking systems using Excel and other scheduling platforms.
* Prepare compliant, print-ready artwork and over-labels, applying technical copy directly when required.
* Coordinate with translators, distributors, and customers to validate translations and technical content.
* Update and maintain product manuals for different territories (e.g. Poland) to ensure market-specific compliance.
* Create handover documents and training resources to support onboarding and ensure packaging regulations are followed by other teams when needed.
* Support implementation of new CLP 2027 requirements, including text size, label layout, and potential use of QR codes.
Desired Experience/Skillset:
* With a university degree or equivalent
* Artwork experience (inhouse or agency)
* Extensive use of Apple OS
* Proven experience in packaging artwork preparation (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop) with a strong understanding of prepress requirements.
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication and liaison skills, with experience coordinating between compliance, creative, and commercial teams.
* Ability to analyse technical copy and translations, raising queries where necessary to avoid compliance risks.
* Proactive problem-solver, capable of anticipating regulatory challenges and proposing workable solutions.
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for project tracking and reporting.
* Knowledge and understanding of bicycle and/or motorbike sports
* Copy writing and grammatical skills
