Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Yard Operative to join our busy yard team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the building materials industry – full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries
* Picking and preparing customer orders
* Keeping the yard clean, tidy and well-organised
* Serving customers in the yard in a professional and friendly manner
* Learning about the products we stock and how they're used
* Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Physically fit – the role involves manual handling
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Punctual and reliable
* No experience necessary – full training provided
* Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
