Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants in the Dover area to work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and demonstrates a commitment to the development and well-being of children.
Responsibilities
* Support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and other developmental or behavioural challenges.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support in collaboration with the class teacher to help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
* Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles to ensure every child feels included, engaged, and valued.
* Help track progress, record key observations, and share insights with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure a consistent and personalised approach.
* Build trusting relationships with pupils and apply effective behaviour management strategies.
* Receive training and ongoing support through Tradewind, including CPD courses and a dedicated consultant to help find your ideal role.
