Job Description Summary
Join us as a Quantity Surveyor and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects from start to finish. You'll work closely with design and construction teams, manage costs with precision, and help ensure every scheme runs smoothly and successfully. This position is based at our site in North Tyneside and will require 3 days a week on-site.
What you'll be doing
* Support Surveying and Estimating teams in appointing and managing contractors, suppliers, and consultants
* Prepare accurate cost plans and Bills of Quantities for both pre- and post-contract stages
* Collaborate closely with project teams to identify changes early and manage change control effectively
* Plan and manage your workload proactively to minimise risk and avoid disputes
* Work seamlessly with design and construction teams to ensure integrated project delivery from start to finish
* Contribute to successful outcomes by maintaining strong communication and coordination across all stakeholders
What we’re looking for
(Essential):
* Professional qualifications with an appropriate level of experience in Quantity Surveying
* Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver work within agreed deadlines
* Broad knowledge of construction techniques and industry standards
* Commitment to achieving Chartered status with a relevant professional body within agreed timescales
* Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
