Job Overview: Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. Provide strategic oversight to ensure the supply chain is cost‑effective, efficient, and aligned with the company’s objectives.

* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business goals, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
* Oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and secure quality materials at competitive prices.
* Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand while minimizing costs and avoiding shortages.
* Optimize logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and address issues to maintain supply chain reliability.
* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the supply chain.
* Ensure compliance with UK regulations and company policies, and develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Use data‑driven insights to monitor supply chain performance and present regular reports to senior management.
* Liaise with other managers such as the Warehouse Manager, Transport Manager and Stock Manager.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in supply chain management.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and procurement practices.
* Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
* Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
* Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business objectives.
* Solid understanding of UK regulations and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Fluency in Punjabi or Urdu is a bonus.

Stock Manager

Job Overview: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensure accuracy in stock records, and maintain efficient operations within the warehouse. Manage stock efficiency and support the overall supply chain to meet customer demands.

* Inventory Management
o Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet business and customer needs.
o Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
o Update and manage inventory records in the company’s inventory management system.
* Stock Control and Organisation
o Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organisation of stock to facilitate easy access and tracking.
o Develop and implement processes to minimise stock damage, loss, and expiration.
o Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and correct documentation.
* Order Processing
o Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
o Review sales forecasts and coordinate with purchasing to ensure product availability.
o Track backorders and follow up on pending orders to keep customers informed of potential delays.
* Reporting and Data Analysis
o Generate reports on stock levels, turnover, discrepancies, and other key metrics.
o Analyse stock data to identify trends, adjust reorder points, and improve inventory turnover.
o Work closely with finance and operations to provide insights into inventory valuation and stockholding costs.
* Quality and Compliance
o Ensure all stock management activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
o Conduct quality checks on incoming products to ensure they meet company standards.
o Maintain health and safety standards in the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Team Management and Training
o Supervise warehouse staff involved in stock management activities.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience: 1+ years in stock or inventory management, ideally within a wholesale or distribution environment.

* Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
