Salary:GBP 45 000 – 60 000 Dependent uponexperience

Ourclient currently has an opening for an experienced BusinessDevelopment Manager who can work independently or as part of a teamin a fastpacedenvironment.
Whilstfieldbased you will be expected to spend time at our Mansfieldoffice and report directly to the Managing/Sales Directorespecially duringprobation.
Althoughthe role encompasses your daily tasks it willinclude:
* Sourcingand developing sales opportunities and selfgeneratingleads
* Promotingcompany products andservices
* Attendingsitesurveys
* Designingand costingsystems
* Producinghighquality proposals andquotations
* Producingsales files prehandover tooperations
* Managingsales pipeline to maximise salesoutput
* Achievesales targets for both installation and maintenancesales
* Achievecompanymargins
* Maintainaccurate records and ensure that the company sales CRM is kept upto datedaily
* Ensurethat any reporting criteria is adhered to in a timely and accuratemanner
* Attendshows when requested to promote thecompany
* Liaisewith the operations team to ensure that a smooth transition of thesale into operations takesplace
Business Development Manager Skills andAttributes:
Thesuccessful candidate will be able to demonstrate the followingqualities andexperience:
* Havea minimum of 5 years of industry experience in fire and securitysystems and maintenancesales
* Beable to demonstrate a proven track record within significant and/ornational accounts business development and account retention overthe last 3years
* Mustbe able to meet and exceed salesgoals
* Mustdemonstrate an ability to organise and plan account development andtime.
* Beable to design security and life safety systems to a level withintheir targetmarket
* Beable to demonstrate highlevel communication presentation andnegotiation skills via written and verbalmeans
* Mustbe a team player with the ability to share skills and experiencewith theteam
* Havea strong CV with a balanced workhistory
* Mustbe able to produce a sales business plan detailing sales profit andcosts
* Havea clean drivinglicence
* Haveno criminal record that will prevent detailed vettingsuccess
Salary up to£60000
Thestarting salary is commensurate with experience and the businessplanoutput.
Youwill also be entitled to the commission to be agreed upon beforecommencement.
Thiswill be reviewed at the end of the firstyear.
Yourholiday entitlement is 20 days plus bank holidays. This will riseto 22 days following 2 years’ service with thecompany.
CompanyVehicle:
Thecompany run a personal vehicle scheme providing the maximumpermitted sum allowed to be paid by Customs andExcise.
Acompany vehicle will be provided for the first six months ifrequested.
