Role Summary
In this exciting role, you will lead virtual teams across various functions, including trading, multichannel, brand, merchandising, supply, marketing, and insights. Your skills in relationship building, commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and project management will empower you to implement impactful category management practices that enhance our customer experience. Proven ability to coach in a dynamic commercial environment, empowering teams to achieve world‑class category management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and lead cross‑functional projects, curating insights and tactical retail recommendations while facilitating engaging workshops.
* Inspire and coach trading teams to develop profitable, customer‑led recommendations that maximise business value.
* Ensure the quality of customer and financial inputs in projects, identifying opportunities and trade‑offs without compromising the customer offer.
* Demonstrate flexibility in shaping our approach to category management best practices.
* Share external market insights and competitor knowledge to enhance team performance.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong track record in a commercially focused role, ideally within retail or FMCG.
* Exceptional relationship management and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage others.
* Strong analytical and numerate skills, enabling you to create compelling narratives from data and insights with a customer focus. A degree or equivalent qualification in a numerate discipline.
