Main Duties

The post holder will assess patients, conduct risk assessments and formulate treatment plans. They will be available to the MDT for consultation and act as the senior medical resource within the team.

They will also assist consultants in the supervision and teaching of more junior medical colleagues.

Our medics enjoy excellent access to weekly CPD sessions and are well supported through a supervisory structure that includes regular job planning, review and evaluation to ensure a balanced workload.

Medics can join our Clinical Academic Groups and work closely with the Trust Research Unit in co‑developing evidence‑based interventions, such as the hearing voices clinic. We encourage medics to engage in ongoing service‑improvement initiatives, including the recent HDAT audit and collaboration with our Pharmacists on Trust‑wide service improvements.
