We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old boy with developmental delay and limited motor skills. This is a Up to 16 hours per week (flexible) including after school, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the child with physical activities (walking, running, swimming, park play)
* Assist with therapy exercises and daily routines
* Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
* Ensure safety and supervision at all times
* Communicate and report progress to parents
Requirements
* Patience, reliability, and good communication skills
* Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK
* Experience with children with developmental delay/SEN is desirable
Duties include
* Personal grooming
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Moving and handling
* Clinical tasks
* Other relevant duties as required
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
