Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis is a luxury, UK-based brand renowned for its handcrafted wooden garden swing seats, day beds, pergolas, and bespoke outdoor furniture. With an outstanding national reputation among high-end customers, we are looking for a Sales & Operations Manager to take on the customer-facing side of the business while handling key operations to ensure smooth delivery of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business, where you'll play a pivotal role in both sales and day-to-day business operations.
You will work under the Managing Director of Sitting Spiritually, ensuring that you have the support and structure to thrive in your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales & Customer Communication: Be the main point of contact for all customer enquiries, guiding them through the entire process from enquiry to order completion. You'll need to expertly manage customer expectations and provide an exceptional experience to high-end clientele.
* Order Management: Oversee and manage orders, ensuring timely production and seamless communication with customers. You'll ensure all details are captured accurately and relay information between the makers and the customers.
* Liaising with Suppliers: Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring material orders are placed in a timely manner, deliveries are on schedule, and quality standards are met.
* Day-to-Day Operations: Handle administrative tasks, order tracking, email correspondence, and manage customer service needs across multiple channels.
* Collaboration with Sonder Digital: While you'll primarily work independently, you'll collaborate with Sonder Digital's team (9 staff) for support with marketing, website management, and strategic direction.
What We're Looking For
* Sales Focus: You need to be a sales-driven individual with outstanding communication skills, able to convert leads and manage customer relationships through the buying process.
* Customer Service Expertise: Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and handle inquiries from high-end clients with professionalism and care.
* Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and managing your day-to-day workload, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Attention to Detail: A luxury brand requires a high level of precision — you'll need to manage every order, email, and customer interaction with the utmost care and polish.
* Multitasking Ability: You should be able to manage multiple orders and customer queries, prioritising effectively and ensuring smooth operations throughout.
* Timber/Outdoor Furniture Experience (preferred but not essential): A passion for timber and outdoor furniture would be beneficial, but is not required.
