Are you ready to make a real difference? We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our vibrant team at Foster Care Associates. This is your chance to help develop and promote fostering services in the Yorks & Lincs area. Our office is based in Melton, and we support a hybrid working model, offering flexibility to work from home. You will also have the opportunity to visit foster parents and children in their homes, as well as travel to our regional office in Sheffield occasionally.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
* Supervise and monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensure foster carers understand their roles, responsibilities, and the standards expected of them.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs and provide necessary support.
* Maintain compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding care packages.
* Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* A Social Work qualification
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
* Strong report writing skills
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
* The willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Yorkshire/Humberside/Lincs area
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations
* A full driving licence
