JDR are hiring for multiple CNC machinists for one of their clients in Newcastle under Lyme
Contract type: Permanent vacancy
Working Hours:
You can choose either Day shift or Night Shifts
Day shift - £16.50-£18.00 per hour
7:30 - 4:30, Monday to Friday. 12:30pm finish Friday
Night shift - £21.45 - £23.40
18:00 - 4:30am, Sunday to Thursday
The Role:
* Programming, setting and monitoring of Lathe, Mills and turning CNC machines using CADCAM software
* Regularly performing quality checks on the finished products in line with the companies QMS
* Working to estimated production times
* Working within the companies H&S policy
* Ensuring the work areas are organised and tidy.
* Ensuring tooling is returned to the tool stores.
* Ensuring material is returned to the material stores.
What we're looking for:
* An experienced CNC setter, who has experience working through the full CNC lifecycle, including programming, setting and operating.
* Programming experience with Heidenhein, Mazatrol or Siemens controls would be a benefit, as would any expereince with CADCAM software
* Someone who has an eye for detail and can quality check finished products.
