About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Technician to join our busy service team. You will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles. This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys hands-on work, technical challenges, and delivering high-quality results in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance
* Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
* Carry out repairs on brakes, tyres, exhausts, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, and electrical systems
* Maintain accurate digital and paper service records
* Ensure all work meets safety, manufacturer, and quality standards
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
* Assist colleagues when required and support efficient workshop operations
About You
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
* Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
* Reliable, motivated, and detail-focused
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred
