Experienced Vehicle Technician Required – Independent Garage
A well-established independent garage in Arlesey is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join its professional workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced repair technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and accurate diagnostics in a supportive, organised environment.
The workshop specialises in servicing and repairs across all makes and models, with regular work on premium German brands.

The Role
This is a hands-on mechanical position suited to a competent and confident technician.
Key Responsibilities:
* Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
* Timing belt, timing chain and wet belt replacement
* Clutch replacement and transmission repairs
* Brake system repairs and upgrades
* Suspension repairs and diagnostics
* Exhaust system repairs and replacement
* General mechanical repairs across all makes and models
* Accurate fault diagnosis and repair
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Working efficiently within a team environment
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic
* Strong mechanical repair and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience working on Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi or JLR vehicles
* MOT Tester qualification
