We are currently looking for a Paraplanner to join our clients, a highly successful independent practice in the Bury St Edmunds area. Our clients are ideally seeking an experienced Paraplanner, however, they would also consider a strong Financial Administrator looking to progress

The successful Paraplanner will be offered:
1. Basic Salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
2. 22 days holiday + bank holidays
3. Death in service
To be considered for the Paraplanner role, you must have:
4. Previous experience working within an IFA practice
5. Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
6. Ability to prioritise, meet targets and deadlines
7. Effective communication skills both written and verbal
8. Strong analytical and numerical skills
9. Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Responsibilities for the role of Paraplanner:
10. Preparing analysis of the client’s existing portfolio
11. Provision of technical support to Advisers
12. Completing calculations (i.e., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension
13. Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice
14. Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation
15. Adherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service
16. Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients
17. Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
