Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for: The typical duties of a Service Manager whilst providing supervisory support to the Branch Manager/Head of Service including the administration, financials, people management and business development of the region. To also include customer relations and PR. Management Responsibilities: To assist the Branch Manager (where applicable) to manage the utilisation of the engineers in an efficient and effective manner, maximising chargeable hours wherever possible. To assist in keeping engineers sufficiently informed about company procedures and other information so that they can represent the company in a professional manner. To ensure that engineers are kept fully informed and updated on Health and Safety matters, by liaising with the health and safety officers at Head Office, Sittingbourne. To liaise with HR on any employee HR matters or sickness absence related issues To assist the Branch Manager to maintain effective team work, employee motivation and morale within the region. Your Profile / Qualifications GEA Service is part of the GEA Refrigeration Technologies Division of the GEA group of companies specialising in the refrigeration sector and responsible for the sales and technical support for all the divisions in the UK and Eire. The applicant should be from a refrigeration background with a sound knowledge of refrigeration systems.
