About the Role:
As a key part of the engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving site services and utilities across a busy, fast-paced food production site.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on site services and facilities.
* Looking for long-term solutions to recurring problems and faults to improve reliability and performance and reduce costs.
* Managing contracts coming to site, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site policies.
* Collaborating with the wider engineering team as required to achieve objectives.
About You:
We're looking for an apprentice trained, time served Engineer with the following background and skills:
* Experience of working in a site services and utilities role in a manufacturing environment, with food, drink, or FMCG being an advantage.
* Proven knowledge and experience of refrigeration, effluent systems, compressed air, HVAC, boilers and legionella management.
* Experience of working in a regulated environment with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
* Proactive approach, able to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
