Digital marketing assistant

We’re looking for a new Digital Marketing Assistant to join us. Marketing skills and knowledge or experience are necessary, and you must be passionate about all things digital.

Here at brandformula, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Digital Marketing department for a Digital Marketing Assistant to work across our industry-known financial services brands. This role will be responsible for supporting the wider Digital Marketing function, creating content for campaigns as well as daily digital comms, and reviewing analytics to help make innovative recommendations and suggestions.

The type of work you can expect to work on include:

Day-to-day tasks can vary all the time. Here are some of the main tasks you’ll be working on…

• Reporting into our Head of Digital working closely with Digital Marketing team and Account Managers, as well as creative team, wider agency, and suppliers in order to deliver client retainer activity and campaigns
• Drafting, optimising, publishing, and scheduling content for clients’ social media channels and websites
• Uploading content to clients’ websites using their content management systems
• Monitoring clients’ social channels
• Supporting email campaigns for clients
• Measuring and reporting on the success of digital marketing activity and campaigns against KPIs
• Support on all of the above for our own digital marketing
• Regularly liaising with clients in meetings and phone calls
• Support the team in building and promoting the presence of the department, both internally and externally

We are looking for:

If you can bring some skills to the table, we’ll train you on the rest. Here’s what we’re interested in…

• At least 1 year’s experience within a similar role or completed degree study in marketing or a related subject.
• A passion for digital marketing and awareness of digital marketing channels
• Experience of drafting and scheduling social posts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some experience using an online CMS to manage website content
• Organised and practical, able to work on multiple projects and manage own time accordingly
• Agency and/or financial services experience
• Familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
