Role Overview
Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH) has a vacancy for a CT Clinical Site Lead to join our dedicated team of Radiographers offering outstanding CT services to our patients.
You will be joining the department at a very exciting time when our Radiology Department has engaged in a fully managed equipment replacement programme, resulting in a departmental refurbishment and installation of new imaging equipment incorporating the latest technology.
RHCH has 2 brand new Canon CT scanners, 1 Prime and 1 Prism. A further CT scanner is located at our CDC site in Andover, and the post holder will need to rotate across all sites, including the sister site in Basingstoke.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the CT service at RHCH, including but not limited to training and protocol management.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing a wide variety of CT imaging examinations complementing specialist services such as cardiac, trauma, body imaging, CT colonography, vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies, as well as CT‑led interventional radiology procedures and an ablation service.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills, a proactive approach to providing outstanding care, well‑organized teamwork, great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise ever‑changing worklists.
Excellent working knowledge of CT and patient safety is essential, with the ability to participate in extended day, night and weekend services.
