Our client based near St. Ives is looking to recruit a full time permanent Stock Controller. You will be working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, with some overtime as and when required. (40 hours per week)
As Stock Controller, you will be involved day to day with the following duties:-
1. Receive incoming stock into the warehouse
2. Allocate stock and management inventory on company warehouse management system
3. Place new stock in to their allotted stock locations
4. Check the incoming stock for quality and compliance, reporting any defects or damages
5. Keep stock organised at all times
6. Perform stock audits and stock counts.
7. Monitor stock levels and assist in stock forecasting
8. Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations
9. You will be required to operate material handling machinery such as forklift, pallet trucks, etc
10. Supporting in the picking of orders during busy periods
11. Working collectively as part of a team
Skills Required
12. Previous experience in a similar stock related role is essential .
13. You must be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved
14. Our client is seeking someone with stability on their CV
15. Forklift certificate desirable not essential
16. Good communication skills
17. A good team player
18. Own transport is essential due to location
