Welcome to Eden Academy Wallsend.
This is your opportunity to lead something truly special! Eden Academy is a child-safe organisation, deeply committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of every child.
Operating from 6:30am to 6pm, we offer a nurturing environment with natural play spaces, open-plan rooms filled with natural light, and abundant age-appropriate resources. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, we create the perfect setting for 90 children to explore, grow, and thrive.
As we prepare to open our doors, we’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Centre Manager to help shape the heart, culture and future of our brand-new service. You’ll lead with warmth, confidence and purpose. You’ll be the driving force behind a joyful, high-quality learning environment where children, families and educators feel genuinely connected.
As our next Centre Manager you will:

* Passionate and impactful leader with a focus on children and educators
* Inspire and mentor educators to deliver exceptional early learning experiences
* Empower educators to nurture children’s independence and curiosity and confidence
* Build strong connections with families and support teams through open, thoughtful communication
* Creates a joyful, caring space that promotes meaningful growth for all
What You’ll Bring:
* You'll hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent)
* A current Working with Children Check
* Legally ready to shine with full Australian working rights
* Safety-conscious with a current Child Protection certificate
* Responsible and ready with your Food Safety Supervisor certificate
* A warm, approachable and professional manner
* You love building strong, meaningful connections with families and the local community
* Full availability to work Monday to Friday
* Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
