What we’re looking for from you: Key Responsibilities As a Telephone Fundraiser, you will be the compassionate and persuasive voice of our charity partners, responsible for: Supporter Experience: Engaging existing supporters through personalised calls to maintain and deepen their connection to the cause. Securing Support: Clearly and effectively communicate the urgency of our campaigns and successfully secure one-off or regular donations. Empathy and Advocacy: Articulating and understanding, the key issues faced by the charities and explaining precisely how the supporter's contribution makes a lasting, tangible difference. Supporter Care: Delivering exceptional care by listening attentively, handling enquiries with empathy, and connecting with supporters. Administrative Excellence: Accurately recording call outcomes, donation details, and any necessary supporter feedback into our database. What we’re looking for: Skills and Experience The most successful candidates will possess a blend of strong communication skills and professional discipline: Essential Skills Relationship Management: Excellent proven ability to build rapport and manage relationships with a diverse range of individuals over the phone. Influencing Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills to effectively motivate supporters. Communication: Ability to communicate personably and effectively, with confidence and fluency, both verbally and in writing. Organisation: Excellent organisation, administrative, and prioritising skills, with the ability to work independently to multiple deadlines. Technical Competency : Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with experience of using diallers. Teamwork : A strong commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing positively to a remote team culture. Highly Desirable Experience Previous Fundraising: Experience in telephone fundraising, or related sales/customer service roles. 2 years of fundraising experience is required to qualify for the Senior Fundraiser role Target-Driven Environment: Proven history of working successfully in a role that involves meeting performance goals or targets. Contact Centre Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume call centre or contact environment is a significant benefit. Remote Working: Experience of working remotely from home, and keeping motivated. What we offer: Job Type: Full-time Hours: Positions of 28 or 35 hours per week £12.60 per hour starting rate with promotional opportunities.
