Expana is a leading independent provider of global commodity price forecasts and market intelligence for the food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and capital goods industries. We offer data and insights through cloud-based SaaS products, as well as APIs and Data Feeds. We’re hiring a Content Strategist to bring our brand and platform to life through insightful, high-impact content.
In this role, you’ll work closely with subject matter experts across our business to craft thought leadership and marketing materials that resonate with a global audience in the commodities and data intelligence space. From articles and reports to webinars and video scripts, your words will help position Expana as a trusted voice in the market.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Shape the Strategy
* Own and evolve a content calendar aligned to marketing priorities and commercial goals
* Identify timely opportunities by tracking industry trends and market developments
* Lead ideation and planning for standout content that showcases our expertise
* Create and Deliver
* Write and produce clear, engaging content across multiple formats: articles, reports, webinars, videos and more
* Support content production from scriptwriting to delivery — collaborating with internal teams and external partners where needed
* Stay current with emerging content formats, tech, and best practices
* Collaborate Across the Business
* Partner with experts across Editorial, Forecasting, Product Marketing and Sales to ensure content is accurate, relevant and insightful
* Work closely with channel owners to ensure content is distributed effectively across all platforms
* Measure and Optimise
* Track performance metrics and gather audience insights to refine and improve future content
* Evolve strategy based on results and feedback
* Champion the Brand
* Ensure all content aligns with Expana’s brand tone, voice and visual identity
* Maintain consistency across all touchpoints and campaigns
What You’ll Bring
* 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing or editorial in a B2B setting
* Proven ability to produce high-quality, impactful content in both written and multimedia formats
* Strong understanding of how content supports demand generation and brand positioning
* Background in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or similar
* Experience working within a DaaS business preferably but we will consider strong exposure within a SaaS company
Bonus Skills & Experience
* Experience in data analytics or technology sectors
* Understanding of the commodities or financial markets
* Familiarity with webinar and video content production
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong research, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
* Creative flair and sharp attention to detail
