About the Role
Location: Knowle Hill HWRC Salterton Rd, Exmouth EX8 2NS
Working Pattern:
- Rest days: Thursday and Friday
- Working days: Saturday to Wednesday
Hours:
- April–September: 40 hours per week
- October–March: 35.5 hours per week
Start Times:
- Weekdays: 8:45
- Weekends: 9:45
Finish Times:
- Weekends (Oct–March): 4:45
- Weekends (April–Sept): 6:00

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an important role in helping customers recycle responsibly while supporting the safe and efficient running of the site. Providing excellent customer service is central to this role, as you’ll guide members of the public on how to use the site effectively and maximise the recovery of recyclable materials.
You’ll need:
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A flexible approach to work, including the ability to cover holidays and sickness when required
- Ideally, some experience using mobile plant equipment (full training provided)
