This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Commercial Proposition team which spans our new business segment, bringing together Quilter Investors, Quilter Investment Platform and Quilter Financial planning.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will help maintain the Quilter Investors’ fund range and management portfolio services (MPS), supporting multiple aspects of the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring these solutions meet customer, legal and regulatory requirements and deliver suitable returns for shareholders.

Our investment proposition consists of a suite of UK domiciled multi-asset and single asset class funds, an Irish ICAV, and a range of MPS portfolios distributed via platforms in the UK.
As Senior Product Manager, you will take the lead on driving changes for the UK domiciled fund ranges, including fund launches / mergers / closures, product reviews, evaluating customer outcomes, and supporting assessments of value. You will also help ensure that these solutions continue to operate efficiently and remain compliant with all regulatory, tax and corporate rules.
You will furthermore support the strategic and commercial development of these ranges. This includes ensuring the investment solutions remain fit for purpose, comparing and contrasting their USPs against competitors, market developments and customer and adviser feedback, to drive good customer outcomes and propose value adding developments.
You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulation such as UCITS and Mifid II and ensure that all fund legal documentation adheres to regulatory requirements. Where applicable, you will be expected to help formulate responses on consultations. You will also help ensure that internal product documentation is maintained to a very high standard.
The role offers the opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of fund and MPS related activities, including defining investment guidelines, assessing and embedding the FCA’s Finalised Guidance on Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR), owning changes to fund literature, leading on fund changes as well as working closely with multiple disciplines including investment risk, performance, research, fund accounting, compliance and legal.

Our ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the UK’s fund management industry, including a detailed knowledge and understanding of specific fund regulation such as UCITS and Mifid II as defined in COLL. You will have a wealth of experience in a product development role with an ACD/AFM and have proven experience of leading on fund changes including regulatory filings with the FCA, shareholder communications, and drafting internal governance papers. Experience of Responsible Investment, ESG labels and/or SDR will be an advantage.
You will be an effective communicator at all levels including to senior managers and board members, have a strong ability to influence, persuade and challenge individuals, and be able to own and drive work independently. You will be expected to write comprehensive product proposals, product recommendations and specifications for product changes and present these for approval to forums/committees to support a culture of strong governance oversight.
You will also have a high attention to detail and be able to understand or perform complex numerical analysis, for example fund performance and capital market assumptions. You will objectively and systematically analyse problems and risks to drive to appropriate outcomes and have experience of delivery in complex high-pressure situations.
Ideally you will have gained a financial market certification such as IMC (Investment Management Certificate) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
