This role will begin at the client's site in Renfrew before moving off-site to Alloa. This contract is anticipated to last for approximately seven weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems according to specifications
Determining the necessary materials and specifications for each project
Ensuring all pipefitting tasks are completed to industry standards and safety regulations
Performing regular checks and maintenance of the piping systems while addressing any issues
Reading and interpreting blueprints and piping schematics
Ensuring the proper functioning of the systems through rigorous testing and quality control
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipefitter
Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation techniques, and maintenance practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Flexibility to work at different site locations as required
Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations
Job Duration and Location:
Contract duration c. 7 weeks
Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
Paid 50 hour week
£30/h PAYE plus £3.62/h holiday pay or £40.18/h Umb Co. Can go CIS.
