Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon with a focus on advanced soft tissue surgery to join their flagship 24-hour hospital located in East London. This position offers an opportunity to step into a purely surgical role, managing an exciting and varied caseload.
Responsibilities
* Perform surgeries ranging from general practice to referral level, including SUB placements, liver resections, and thoracic procedures.
* Collaborate with an experienced team of theatre RVNs to deliver exceptional surgical care.
* Work 40 hours per week, inclusive of a weekend rotation, and provide support during two bank holidays annually.
* Utilise state-of-the-art equipment, including multiple cautery units, harmonic scalpels, and a full laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and endoscopy kit.
* Contribute to the hospital’s first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral services, supported by a network of over 20 branches.
Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will hold a certificate or advanced practitioner qualification in surgery and possess experience in ultrasonography.

Salary and Benefits
* Salary range: £80,000 to £110,000 (FTE), commensurate with experience and growth potential.
* 6.6 weeks of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
