Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for your next opportunity? Astute Recruitment are working with a well-established client based in Castle Donington seeking a confident and reliable individual to join their finance team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Matching, batching and coding invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
* Preparing and processing payment runs
* Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
* Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties as required
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits and Hours:
* 37.5 hour working week
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm (Potential for flexible start and finishes)
* Salary: Up to 28,000 per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience
