Job Summary Due to continued business growth, a leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Agent to support the delivery of a major highways infrastructure project in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will take on a varied role, utilising their technical knowledge, leadership skills, and project delivery experience to support the successful completion of the scheme. Key Responsibilities The Site Agent will: Lead, manage, and mentor Site Engineers and Section Engineers Support the Project Manager in overseeing the construction phase of the project Assist with the coordination, allocation, and management of project resources Contribute to short-term and long-term construction planning activities Prepare and review work package plans and supporting management documentation Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget Work closely with planning teams to maintain accurate programme information Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and specifications Manage subcontractor and supplier performance and relationships Liaise with commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely record keeping Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures Organise and participate in weekly and monthly site meetings Produce daily briefings and maintain site records and diaries Support the implementation of quali...
