Salary: £33,072 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (40 hours, Monday–Friday) with flexible options available
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Third in Charge to become part of our warm and welcoming team at Rainbow Day Nursery. The nursery is situated on Lupton Street in the Kentish Town area, which lies to the north of central London. There are fantastic commuter links to central London and nearby neighbourhoods with several bus routes local and Kentish Town station and Gospel Oak station.

The Role
Third in Charge Responsibilities:
* Provide age-appropriate, engaging experiences and environments that support children's development.
* Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs throughout the day.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on EyLog and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example with fairness and consistency to uphold respect for the role.
* Support the key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records for children and staff using EyMan and physical files.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, parents, and visitors.
* Comply with all statutory EYFS framework requirements.
About You
You’re compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference every day.
Essential:
* Level 3 childcare qualification
* Confident written and spoken English
Desirable:
* Experience in an Early Years setting
* Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices
